Writing Descriptions

Writing descriptions is essential in fields as diverse as advertising, human resources and tourism, although at school level their greatest value may lie in helping students clarify and organise their thoughts.

This series reviews description-types, teaching approaches and a teacher-friendly, reliable assessment strategy. We offer four linked options for available as single stand-alone sessions, or within a more comprehensive programme. 

  • Descriptions for Lower Primary (G1 - 4)
  • Descriptions for Upper Primary / Lower Secondary (G5 - 8)
  • Descriptions for High School (G9 - 12)
  • Descriptions for Cambridge C1 Advanced ("CAE")

For both EFL teachers and E2L, bilingual and immersion teachers.
