Open-group semi-intensive programme, preparation for the Cambridge English C1 Advanced (formerly known as "CAE") Examination. We cover knowing and understanding the examination and its components, Practice of & Feedback on each component, and success and preparation strategies. Whether you are registering for the examination, or are considering it and want to know how to succeed, this programme provides what you need to know.
This 30-hour limited-enrolment open-group programme is comprised of thirty one-hour sessions, online via Meet. Complete the Contact Us form to the right for a programme flier, or for registration information. Thiis programme is aimed at the June and July examination sessions.
The programme focus is on examination success, rather than examination methodology. Informational sessions include explanatory handouts, programme guides, resources lists and so on. Practice & Feedback sessions involve pre-sessional tasks which are then reviewed during the session. Groups have a maximum of eight group members.

Contents
- Introduction, overview, examination composition and components, strategies for success, score maximisation, preparation, examination formats, local re-sellers : 2 sessions
- Reading & Use of English (Paper One) task types, strategies for success, preparation, practice & feedback of each Part (component) : 15 sessions
- Speaking & Listening (Papers Three and Four) task types, strategies for success, preparation, practice & feedback of each Part (component): 5 sessions
- Writing (Paper Two) task types, strategies for success, preparation, practice & feedback of each Part (component): 5 sessions
- Problem Clinics and Student Choice of topic : 3 sessions
Although reasons for or explanations of responses to particular questions and/or tasks will be explored, this is not a language acquisition and development programme. Registration for specific sessions, topics, Parts (components) or Papers only may be possible. Please ask.
Fees
Fees apply on a sliding scale from $101.250 depending on group size.

These are one-hour, synchronous, online, video-conferencing sessions.
This is an open enrolment group programme. Ask us about closed programmes where you choose who, what, where and when. Open-session group-sizes are limited to allow for participation and questions.
