Advanced Use of English Practice and Feedback - Vocabulary : went, went, went

Fifteen wents and how to avoid them, and wents which cause problems. This advanced-vocabulary one-hour single-topic session focusses on accuracy, appropriacy and on developing the speaker's range, while considering

  • Word families
  • Conjugations
  • Usages, idiomatic and figurative
  • Related vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms
  • Uses and misuses
  • Metaphorical usages
  • Aphorisms

The day prior to this session, we send you 30 Advanced level exercises testing your knowledge of the structures or vocabulary for you to complete. During the one-hour live online session, we review the answers and discuss those questions with which participants had difficulties and, depending on time, other topics which may arise.
