Advanced Use of English - factual reports

Report writing has been identified as the most important skill for engineers, and a highly important skill in many other fields. Reports are also linked to writing summaries, a regular exercise in Language evaluations.

Join us as we review key differences between reports, reviews, commentaries and the like, beginning with what may be a new activity for many, providing practice for learners and a model which can be duplicated for teachers.

The session then explores language points raised in the activity and, if time allows, continues to a guided discussion of some of the points raised by the source material.
