Diagnostic assessments rarely are (if ever!), while placement assessments can only be done by people familiar with your programme. What you need is a Level Test, telling you where your students are.
Level tests are particularly useful at the beginning of the year, when moderating different classes within the same grade, when preparing for an external examination, for setting a benchmark and/or for measuring student progress. Our comprehensive Level Tests are conducted by experienced examiners. They are objective, designed according to CEFR, and activities and rubrics are age and level-appropriate :

Ask about how Diagnostic, Placement and Level tests differ. Note - if you are being offered a "Diagnostic Test", this is almost certainly not what the seller means and not what you will receive. Be sure that you are using the correct terminology.
