Welcome to our fourth programme of summer professional development and support for teachers, educational leaders and administrators. This series reviews a selection of short texts suitable for both Advanced English and literature students and teachers. These texts are historically and culturally significant and should be read by all "educated" people. They currently appear or have appeared in Cambridge or IB text lists, and are suitable for use with Upper Intermediate High School classes.
Texts or text-links are sent to participants the day prior to the session(s) to allow for pre-reading. These sessions provide introductory overviews to the texts with some literary and language analysis.
