Welcome to our fourth programme of summer professional development and support for teachers, educational leaders and administrators. English as a Second Language (E2L) is quite distinct from English as a Foreign Language, the national programme here in Chile. Unfortunately the two terms are used quite loosely and often erroneously. Join us as we explore E2L and how it might look in your classroom.
These sessions are suitable for all teachers and English learners who want to expland their knowledge base, and to high school (G9 - 12 or "medio") teachers curious as to whether these activities might be useful in their classrooms. Cambridge International and IB English B teachers in particular will find them useful.
The presenter of these sessions has taught Cambridge First Language English, Second Language English and Foreign Language English (as well as Cambridge English Literature) programmes, and represented Cambridge International in Chile for five years,
