Welcome to our fourth programme of summer professional development and support for teachers, educational leaders and administrators. Students spend a significant amount of time on video platforms, but do they know how to "view" critically? Do they have the tools of visual-language criticism, and of multi-modal response and analysis, they really do need in an increasingly visual world?
These two introductory sessions will give you a better idea as to what is invoived in visual language and multi-model lessons, and are useful for teachers of all levels (especially Middle or Second Cycle and up) and all programmes (especially Cambridge International and IB).
