January 2025 Professional Development and Personal Growth : Professional Conversations

Maintaining range and fluency while teaching beginners or younger learners is at best challenging and many, if not most, teachers have been unable to manage either or both in today's reality. We all need adult conversation, and these Advanced Discussion practice sessions provide just that.

Series A This programme of guided discussions is under development and we welcome your input. Please complete the Contact Us form to the right with your preferred days, dates and times.

  • Differentiation in the English classroom
  • Individualisation in the English classroom
  • TEA in the English classroom
  • Difficult conversations with colleagues
  • Managing up and managing down as a middle manager
Series B The day before each session, we will send a short text, texts or video relating to the topic to prompt discussion. All viewpoints and experiences are welcome as we solve the world's (educational) problems.
