Evaluating Pairwork

Pairwork is likely the most effective teaching and learning tools, and is of course an integral part of life beyond school in all contexts. Accordingly, evaluating a student's Pairwork performance should be a part of his/her oral performance profile.

This session reviews an easy, effective and teacher-friendly evaluation model which can be adapted and adopted for use in other programmes and at other levels and is a useful follow-up to Effective Pairwork.

Also available : assessing pairwork and evaluation training. Recorded pairwork activities are assessed using a model rubric with guidance as to what is rewarded and why. Both the activities and rubric are appropriate as plug-and-play.
