English teachers are often tasked with running an afterschool English Club or High School "English Workshop" with little or no guidance, while even those with experience look for support and new ideas. These sessions provide a road-map to a successful English Club (or Workshop) and ideas you can incorporate into yours.
The sessions are especially useful for current and newly-appointed Heads of Department, Heads of Section and Academic Directors. We recommend that anyone interested in this session should also consider our Leading a Department session.

- For those who have not run an English Club before or who have run one or two only. We review ideas for Clubs and Club activities, planning, preparation, pre-, post- and during, policies and procedures, pitfalls, allies and sand in the gears. Based on and rooted in experience.
- Attendees will receive our "30 Ideas for an English Club".
- As-needed Coaching and Critical Friend support
- Support for planning and running a specific Club, promotion, finding support, finance and budgetting, plan reviews and feedback, experience-based pointers and suggestions ...
