Join us as we explore some Field Trip and Field Trip activity possibilities which you can use to make your programme more lifelike and the contents more relatable for your students.

Welcome to our fourth programme of summer professional development and support for teachers, educational leaders and administrators. This series reviews a selection of short texts suitable for both Advanced English and literature students and teachers. These texts are historically and culturally significant and should be read by all "educated" people. They currently appear or have appeared in Cambridge or IB text lists, and are suitable for use with Upper Intermediate High School classes.

Writing in Lower Primary (G1 - 4) builds on Early Years, and prepares for Upper Primary / Lower Secondary (G5 - 9). Students explore narrative and descriptive writing, planning and writing within constraints, in both online and in-person classes.

Active Learning is a student-centred approach to teaching and learning in which the student is actively engaged with the materials, topics, skills and outcomes. In many respects, active learning is the opposite of a traditional teacher-centred, top-down or "direct" approach.

Maintaining range and fluency while teaching beginners or younger learners is at best challenging, and many if not most teachers have been unable to manage either or both in today's reality. We all need adult conversation, and these Advanced Discussion practice sessions provide just that.
