Dates are like points in time, but they may not follow the same rules, and are in effect names for those points. Yet even Advanced English learners can be fooled by these superficially simple usages and make, and keep making, errors.
This one-hour single-topic session reviews the names and structures of dates, other periods of time and related usages, and of course the prepositional bugbears. If time allows, we may also include a problem clinic.
