Media Studies can be a distinct programme, a unit within a programme or interwoven throughout a programme. However you include it, our students need to develop media literacy and sophistication for their individual benefit and for that of society as a whole.
This one-hour overview session explores the concept of media literacy and sophistication, the three pillars in Media Studies and the three avenues of content creation and response, and how to design a Media Studies programme. You may also be interested in :

A C1 or higher level of English is assumed.
This is a one-hour synchronous online video conferencing session; an in-person, face-to-face option is also available.
