The primary feature of Advanced English means knowing different ways of saying the same thing, aka as "range". One effect of this is that when a word changes, so do other elements of the sentence which is what we explore in this exercise.
Prior to the session, we send you Advanced-level sentences and statements, testing your knowledge of the structures or vocabulary or usages, for you to rewrite with the same meaning and using a specified keyword. During the one-hour single-topic session, we review the answers and discuss those with which participants had difficulties and why alternative possibilities may not not apply in a specifc case. Depending on time, we also explore other topics which may arise.
