Planning and Running a Successful English Workshop

Many schools seek to increase their English offering both in terms of programme and in terms of time through offering "workshops". New teachers are often asked to offer such a workshop without much in the way of preparation or guidance, while even those with experience look for support and new ideas. This session provides a road-map to a successful English Workshop and ideas you can incorporate into yours.

Although aimed at High School students and teachers, session contents are also generally transferable to younger and lower levels. This session is especially useful for current and newly-appointed Heads of Department, Heads of Section and Academic Directors, and we recommend that anyone interested should have previously joined our Leading a Department session.

  • A C1 or higher level of English is assumed.
