Glaciers - four reading and discussion activities for Middle School (G5 - 8) and High School (G9 - 12)

Glaciers will come up in class, perhaps in connection with geography or tourism or climate change or recent events in the news. Take advantage of this interest or topicality to prompt reading, discussion and writing activities.

This one-hour session reviews three short texts about glaciers, from B1 to B2+ with associated activities, and then two quick evaluative tasks, which can be used in a single, double or triple-period lesson.

Interested? Would you like an invitation to the next open session? Complete the "Contact Us" form on the right for more information.

  • These are one-hour online video-conferencing sessions; an in-person, face-to-face option is also available. A C1 or higher level of English is assumed.
