Planning a Novel Study

If you have not taught a Literature or a Lang & Lit novel study before, or if you want to know how to incorporate a novel unit into your programme, this one-hour overview will get you started on the right path.
We will review considerations in including a novel in your programme, the four areas of exploration, assessment and evaluation and further development opportunities a novel study presents both teachers and students. This session is suitable for new (in their first and second year of teaching a programme or of teaching at this level) and prospective Language, Literature and Lang&Lit teachers.

We also offer text-specific programmes on essays, poetry and short stories, both as EFL-oriented Reading Comprehension and language-acquisition with ready-to-use lesson plans, and E2L / E1L-oriented literary response and analysis, and associated methodology and evaluation.
