English has a number of aphorisms and common expressions which urge you to act quickly, and others which warn you of the perils of doing so. This session reviews more than twenty of these, what they mean and when and how to use them.
This session comes from our Advanced Use of English seminar series. Each session in the series reviews advanced instances and implications of the topic, problem areas, common errors and traps, and includes illustrative exercises and time for a "problem clinic".
