IB Dip Eng A L&L Paper One asks for a "guided analysis". Higher level asks for analyses of two texts, Standard level for one. While these sessions are offered in English using examples from past English papers, Spanish A Language & Literature is the same and the approaches can be transferred.
This series includes :
Session 1
- Preparing your students for textual response and analysis, incorporating this into your programme and your pre-programme planning
We recommend Session 1 prior to Sessions 2 and 3, especially for teachers considering and those in their first and second years of teaching this programme.
- What is evaluated in general terms and general content
- Examination format, task review, markschemes
- Examination success strategies
- Practice and feedback using recent examination tasks
- participants are sent tasks and activities beforehand to review which are then reviewed
