The nineteenth of September is the day when everyone in the world should talk like a pirate. While largely a bit of fun, Talk Like a Pirate Day also draws attention to the history of pirates and piracy, to the cultural and romantic signficance, and for English teachers, to popular Pirate English expressions.

We cover :
